Cindy Olson Bourland
Cindy Olson Bourland is a fifth-generation native of Round Rock, Texas. She attended Southwestern University in Georgetown and the University of Texas School of Law in Austin.
She has extensive experience in trial and appellate cases in state and federal courts.
From 2015–2018, she served as a Justice on the Texas Third Court of Appeals. In 2019, Cindy returned to private practice. She currently handles business litigation and civil appeals.
Several cases that she handled in private practice have resulted in Texas Supreme Court opinions that are cited throughout Texas.

Background
Her late husband, Mike Bourland, was a DPS officer. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hosting parties, and reading about Texas history.
Cindy was in private practice for over 20 years prior to being appointed by the Governor in 2015 to fill a vacancy on the Texas Third Court of Appeals. Cindy served on the Third Court of Appeals for four years, authoring more than 400 opinions during that time.
Since January 2019, she has been back in private practice handling business litigation and civil appeals.
